We make no secret of our love for what are known as the mid-size Royal Oaks. They are super cool on the wrist and are still a good buy in this market. You should check out our Spot On article about them here.
This Royal Oak reference 14790 is in steel and remains in incredible condition, we believe the watch has been worn on only a very few occaisons ,the case is super sharp with strong lines throughout.
The black petit tapisserie dial is flawless , hands have been replaced by AP in service as they are luminova. The bracelet is in perfect condition with literally no stretch or wear !The case back features an engraving that pertains to the FIFA World Cup in 1994 – “ASF World Cup ‘94”. ASF stands for "Association Suisse Football" (Swiss Soccer Association). We believe this watch is one of the ten gifted to an staff member of the 94' Swiss football team as a commemorative piece.
We love the bold sporty look of these watches, that wear much larger than the 36mm size would suggest. This Royal Oak comes with an extract from the AP archives confirming it was registered in 1994., as well coming with ( a very cool !) inner box as well outer box .The watch has the calibre 2225 automatic movement, a modified Jaeger LeCoultre movement, which has been fully checked and regulated by our watchmaker.
This is a special, superb condition watch . For sure very hard to find better one !
